Ignite Strategic Partners was born out of firsthand experience in the security industry. Vinny Peone, our President and Co-Founder, began his career not in security marketing or in an office, but in the field— as an installation technician at Eastern Security Services.
When Eastern announced its expansion into Rochester, NY, Vinny saw an opportunity to help the company grow in a new way. He reactivated his LinkedIn account and started promoting the company’s work, culture, and expertise. What began as a personal effort quickly gained traction. In June 2023, Vinny was promoted by Eastern’s President, Cooper MacDonnell, to Digital Content Manager while continuing his work in the field as a technician.
By October 2024, Vinny officially put down the tools, stepping into the role of Director of Marketing for Eastern— and for their sister company in NYC, Intelli-Tec Security Services. His leadership quickly made an impact. In 2025, his work helped both companies earn national recognition, including another SAMMY Award for Best Promotional Giveaway Item and Intelli-Tec’s first-ever SAMMY Award for Integrated Installation of the Year.
But along the way, conversations with other dealers, integrators, and manufacturers revealed a clear industry need. Many struggled with social media, brand-building, and standing out against national competitors. Manufacturers felt their collateral lacked personality and impact. Together, Vinny and Cooper saw an opportunity — to create a marketing agency built specifically for the security industry.
